Truly authentic, freshly prepared Asian food, a far cry from the usual Chinese cuisine with "glutamate" (gluten-free) ingredients. A beautiful, tasteful ambiance. The attractively designed courtyard garden is pleasantly cool even on hot summer evenings, and the staff is incredibly attentive and efficient.
The excellent Tom Yam Gung soup doesn't skimp on shrimp, and the Tom Kha Gai is also delicious. The pleasant spiciness is slightly adapted to the European palate. The "Black Noodles with Octopus" are a true feast for the eyes and taste delicious! Today we were a group of six adults and one child – everyone was impressed by the cuisine. The vegetarian among us was thrilled with his Mapo Tofu, which is a true explosion of flavor and doesn't lack any spice. The house specialty, however, is the homemade, hand-pulled noodles called "Lamian," which can be found in the delicious soups of the same name. You can watch the chef twisting and pulling the dough. I tried the chicken lamian today: excellent! A soup with coconut milk, fresh coriander, vegetables, and crispy lamian noodles. Not to mention the affordable lunch menus...
For me, it's simply one of the best Asian restaurants in Vienna, with really good value for money. We've been to Dancing Noodles several times now and have been highly satisfied every time. It's close to the Pilgramgasse U4 line.
A definite recommendation!
