If you are looking for an upscale, non-douchey, elegant experience in the financial district, Daphne is the place. Our server, Priya, was knowledgeable, hilarious, and genuine. She was descriptive in explaining the gluten free & halal options on the menu. She deserves a raise!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Daphne in Toronto, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Amanda, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was exceptional. I had recently suffered a concussion and requested a quieter, more comfortable spot, and Amanda not only accommodated this but made me feel truly cared for. Our visit was also a celebration of two special birthdays, and Amanda made sure these moments were acknowledged in the most thoughtful way. She surprised us with personalized desserts and drinks that added a unique, celebratory touch to the evening. It’s rare to see such attention to detail and genuine effort to make guests feel special. On top of that, the restaurant was incredibly accommodating to our table’s dietary needs. With vegetarian, halal, and gluten-free preferences among us, Amanda and her team ensured that everyone had delicious and thoughtful options to enjoy. From the exceptional service to the warm, welcoming atmosphere, Daphne exceeded all my expectations. It’s a place that truly puts its guests first, and I can’t recommend it enough!
