Dark Table

We had unforgettable dinner at dark table and so much fun as well. I have to say this was one of the best experience I ‘ve ever had. The staff are super friendly and they did their best to help us. I got delicious tender steak and my husband is celiac so he got Risotto mushroom that tasted amazing. The ambiance was perfect we had a great time. Our Server Joe was extremely friendly and helped us to navigate through the dark, thanks so much, Joe.

I wanted to try Dark Table because I was intrigued by the concept and all the great reviews. The service was really nice — the server was friendly and nice , and the atmosphere, although a bit noisy, was still pleasant and unique. However, I was very disappointed with the food. I had mentioned that I’m gluten-free, that I don’t eat meat but do eat fish, and I chose the three-course surprise menu. Unfortunately, the dishes didn’t live up to the price or the concept. • Starter: a simple green salad with one strawberry and three blueberries — literally three. • Main course: a small mushroom risotto, very small portion. • Dessert: a sorbet, which was fine but nothing special. I left the restaurant still hungry, and honestly, without the kind of tasting experience I expected from a place like this. It’s a shame, because the idea is great, the setting is original, and the staff truly deserves credit. But unfortunately, the food just didn’t measure.
