No idea how you have such a high rating! My experience with Darling & Co was incredibly underwhelming, to the point where it is laughable. I experienced your high tea as a plant based eater, and although I understand we do not live in a plant based world, the plate I was served was ridiculous. A gluten free tomato sandwich? Melon on a stick? I don't even want to know how much was paid for this. It's 2022 and your venue is in an inner city suburb of a major city, if you can't come up with something better than tomato on bread then don't serve food fullstop.
I rarely make reviews but given my personal experience on top of the fact that the other options for everyone else were very limited and the 3 coffees I had all came out cooler than lukewarm, I couldn't not say anything. Staff were lovely, but I think they deserve to work at a better venue.
