We visited this place for the second time in 2 weeks while traveling. We ordered a #5 steak sandwich both times. The first time, we didn't realize that it came with no bun, so we had to go back through the drive through and request a bun. Very weird right, a burger with no bun.
Today, we attempted to order the #5 Steak burger combo and the #6 Grilled Chicken combo, both of which come with grilled onions and mushrooms. We thought that we could simply request buns be added, but to our shock and dismay, both the girl taking our order and her manager informed us that such a simple action was not an option. Instead, we had to purchase the #2 and #4 sandwich options with the traditional lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles which were the same price as the #5 and #6 ($10.99 & $9.99). The kicker was that rather than just adding a simple bun to the (gluten free no bun options), we had to drop the lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles and pay more to add the onions and mushrooms. The explanation from the manager was that "there was no button for adding a bun", also adding that he would let the owner know about our concerns. I can't imagine that we were the first to have this complaint, but whatever. A burger joint where you can't get a simple bun added to bunless burger is just not American. But on the positive note, the burgers and chicken sandwich are very tasty, a little greasy, but tasty. The soft serve, though limited flavors, also tasty.
