I adore this spot. Twice now I've been with my girlfriend and her family. So, lgbtq+ friendly is a perk. Being a gluten free vegan it's really hard to find a place that's accommodating to my dietary restrictions. While there aren't any specifically gf or vegan meals there are options. And I can't get away from that cranberry pecan spinach salad! Minus the feta of course. Delicious. I've nearly licked my plate clean TWICE now! The fries are meaty and crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside and gf. 🤩 the Chipotle aioli was spon on. And our server. Despite being TRIPPLE SAT, he was on top of everything and remembered every drink and food sensitivity. In PASSING from other tables, "another double wild turkey?!" Which I knew meant more water for me. Lol 😆 friendly, understanding, patient and amazingly kind. We will definitely be back to Dawson's.

Unfortunately I was SEVERELY glutened after eating here as I have celiac. They seldom offer gluten free options and even when I chose a salad, I was violently ill for hours afterward. The staff was very friendly but would not return or recommend for people with allergies.
