Day's Crabmeat & Lobster

Just about everything is gluten free! We ordered New England Clam Chowder& a fried shrimp basket. Hubby got the lobster roll, though he didn’t get it g/f. Everything was absolutely delicious! Even the coleslaw was really good! Plus there’s a beautiful view. There is not indoor seating. But you can get your order to go and enjoy it wherever you prefer. Soo soo good!

When we told a friend we were coming up to Maine he said we have to stop at Day's for a lobster roll. So my husband got the lobster roll, and it looked picture perfect in a toasted bun with lots of plump lobster bits. He said it was good, and having never had a lobster roll before didn't have anything to compare it to. Since I am gluten free, I called ahead to confirm their lobster corn chowder didn't have any flour which it didn't. I was expecting a traditional cream based chowder, but this chowder was thinner and more tomato based. It had a strong fish flavor and I tried a couple bites but it just wasn't for me. The fresh cut fries were delicious though. They have lots of seating out back and the view is tranquil and serene.
