Daydream Donuts

I’ve been a long time customer of DD! Their staff are outstanding people, very friendly and welcoming. Their donuts are lovely, very soft AND the creativity in terms of donut flavouring is off the charts. My favourite item on the DD menu HAS TO BE [AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN] their apple fritters. They’re literally the size of your hand - the chopped apples, the cinnamon and the “perfect pull-apartness” has made me into a total apple fritter addict. They do serve other baked goods, including gluten-free items and has lunchtime treats made to order like wraps, sandwiches and soups. Make sure to hit them up earlier than not - they often run out of donuts (especially on Saturdays or weekdays when conferences, etc are being put on). We’re lucky to have such a gem on George Street.
