Demitasse Coffee & Tea/The Calaveras NYC

This is my favorite weekend breakfast/brunch place. My boyfriend and I come here at least once, if not twice, every weekend. It’s a charming local spot that’s small but mighty. There are only a handful of tables, so you may need to wait sometimes to sit but it’s worth it! My boyfriend is gluten free and always craves the GF pancakes with bacon. I try to mix it up but find myself always gravitating towards their biscuit sandwich — so good!! I would also recommend their breakfast burrito or salmon benedict.

Great spot to have coffee or food in a cute heated cabin-like structure with transparent roof and walls so you have the sun shining on you. Great menù with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Delicious. Nice staff. Highly recommended!
