I like the senior omelet special. It's got tomatoes, onions, cheese and bacon (skimpy bacon this time) and includes hashbrowns and toast (a Gluten Free English muffin is available). I ordered a decaf coffee. My husband wanted "lunch" and ordered a crispy chicken bacon ranch sandwich that he really enjoyed. It came with fries.
Our only concern was that there was a lack of condiments and table items. I had to ask for a spoon and cream for my coffee. Our table was missing Tabasco sauce. I had to ask for jelly for my toast. Then later, for my decaf to get topped off. I felt like I was constantly having to make simple requests.
When we first arrived around 10 am there were three other occupied tables and a single server. When we left, about 45 minutes later there were 14 occupied tables and 3 servers. So, part of the problem might be an "early lunch rush". But it felt really weird to have to ask for items like cream, jelly or a spoon!
Other than that, we had a really nice meal, took advantage of our AARP discount and left a nice tip to compensate for the extra requests.
As I mentioned to my husband, we were so tired after a busy morning ourselves that it was nice to enjoy brunch together for a reasonable price!
