I haven't been to a Denny's in years but needed somewhere to get my daughter breakfast after an appointment. I saw online there were a few gluten free options, and they were actually open on a Monday, so we stopped in. It was about 2/3 full and two ladies working the front of house when we arrived... As in, they were seating, taking orders, delivering orders, bussing, and processing payments at the register. 😮 They were in pleasant moods, nonetheless.
The food was about as good as diner food gets. The interior was in good condition and everything seemed clean (except the carpet). I was surprised how expensive a plate of breakfast can be these days 😬 but the server pointed out a $10 special ($6 cheaper than the plate I was going to order) so that helped.
There are meals that don't contain gluten, but no gluten free substitutes like GF toast or pancakes.
