Denny's

The food was good, the chef did wonderfully, however the service was a bit lackluster. Being seated was quick and easy. However, ordering was a bit of a struggle. I had asked to start with a hot chocolate and then downgrade to a soda both were on their free refill menu. I was refused, which was fine; what wasn't fine was that my drink was never refilled, none of the wait staff ever came by to check if we were doing good. One of the people I went with also noticed gluten free options in the build a burger menu, so she asked for even lettuce in the place of a bun, but she was also refused. She went with a salad because she becomes very sick if she eats any gluten or dairy. Most of the issue were just things we didn't expect but what bothered me the most was that no one came by during our entire stay. Even just to check and make sure the food was good would have been good enough.

Good food, large portions, and a tasty well toasted gluten free English muffin.
