S
I planned a delightful surprise for my wife's birthday weekend by making reservations at this incredible spot! Considering her gluten intolerance and her love for sushi, it was the perfect choice—plus, it was just a short stroll from our hotel. The menu was not only extensive but bursting with flavor, offering something for every palate. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, truly enhancing our dining experience. Overall, we had an amazing time with top-notch service that made the evening unforgettable!

Went to departure before the pandemic and were blown away by the food and service. This experience was honestly very disappointing. It was our anniversary. In our reservation we requested to be outside. I get you can’t always control that. We were placed at a crammed table inside without really any view. The service was great. Our server rocked so nothing on her. I have a gluten allergy and they did fine on that front. I ordered the three course meal. They sort of slant you that way because not all the items are listed or with prices a la cart. I had the Tom Kha soup, octopus and the steak. The Tom Kha soup was pretty much a few tiny potatoes with coconut milk. The Thai place down the street from me has an entire entire for $14 which is more flavorful than this… Second, the octopus was super dry and a very small portion. I get we don’t live right by the ocean but the server did talk it up so I imagined a little better. Third, the steak was a very small portion which I kind of expected. It tasted good but it said it came with a salad. Instead I get a plate with of potatoes. Super disappointed overall. The table next to us ordered the three course with the $65 add on for the overnighted steak. It’s a few small slices of steak that you have to cook yourself with smoke in your face. He didn’t seem too thrilled about it. Not to mention $130 in food and hope your a good cook. The drinks were good but for $18 a cocktail I’ve had better for quite a bit less. In total we spent over $200 and I was still hungry after dinner and 2 drinks each. Overall the food wasn’t terrible but for the price it was was incredibly disappointing. I eat out a lot for work at nice places. This is not somewhere I would return on the company dime or my own. I’m typically really positive on all my reviews and don’t leave many negative but this was just too much.
