Dero's

I visited Dero's twice in one week- once for lunch and once for dinner. The food was consistently excellent - home cooked with care and clearly high quality ingredients - with large portions for a reasonable price. Its not cheap, per se, but given restaurant prices these days, it is a VALUE! A particularly nice touch was when you order a wrap it comes out hot and crispy even if you don't have cheese on it. The menu is varied too - lots of sandwich, apps and entree options in addition to the pizza oven, although they have a lot of options for pizza too. And for those with food allergies (we have someone with Celiac), there are plenty of gluten-free and dairy-free options. Its a large space too so the risk of long waits is de minimis with tables inside and out, booths and bar seating. The servers are young local kids and the chef himself will deliver your food if they're worried it will take too long and get cold waiting for the table server. If you're looking for an alternative to a straight pizza place or long waits at the more popular establishments near the beach, this is your place!
