Desert Island Eatery

So happy to have a gluten free restaurant nearby with AMAZING food! I inhaled once and it was gone. Which is saying something because the portion sizes are solid. Planning to pick this up next time I have friends in town to show them how good the local food scene is. Love a family run business with great vibes <3

Came because never seen a Caribbean place with specifically vegan/gluten free menus + wanted to support. The food is delicious, authentic, + flavorful overall. The only item lacking in flavor that was had was the rice + peas surprisingly but mixed in with everything else it didn't matter much. The service was great. Family owned + ran business added a welcoming home feeling. There is outdoor seating available + this is a to-go restaurant so it's packaged to-go minus the bag even if you eat outside. They do provide table service though which is appreciated. The food is made fresh to order + therefore it takes a while before you get your food. This isn't fast food but it is delicious healthy food. If you don't want to wait call ahead, which is what most people seemed to do.
