Devon Dumpling

We booked here for a birthday lunch on Thursday as we had been before and it was good. It has now changed ownership and although the staff were very polite and helpful the menu was disappointing and not good for gluten free diets. We all had the Hake steak, fillet is the complete side of the fish. This was tasty and nicely presented. The gluten free dessert was a vegan brownie which resembled layers of hard chocolate and was very sweet, nothing like a brownie. We all had coffee from a machine with powdered milk which was weak and stewed. We shall not return until the food improves.

This place was amazing deserves to have Michelin start .The quality presentation was a very very high quality. Good professional service but interested in the customers and how they could give best service. Fantastic accomodating quality service and range of gluten free I have never found anywhere elsewhere. The whole family was estatic with food including a coeliac and vegetarian. A wonderful evening. Thank you so much Estelle Clarke
