This cozy spot offers an authentic Syrian-Middle Eastern ambiance with a warm, inviting atmosphere. While the staff's allergen knowledge is limited, the setting provides a flavorful cultural experience, though gluten-free diners should exercise caution due to unclear allergen information.

Super delicious food! Went there with my wife who’s glutenfree and vegan and that was no problem at all. Definitely recommend a visit when you like Syrian Cousine.

Our first and probably last visit. We had reserved a table in advance. When we registered downstairs we were told a table number that would be on the first floor. But there was no numbering, so we asked the waitress. The next guests also looked in vain for numbers. Why tell guests a table number if there are no signs on the tables? Last night the waiters seemed very uncoordinated and unstructured and there were very long waiting times. Even paying took half an hour and we had to remind us several times. I wanted to try an Arabic wine and asked the waitress for a sweet white wine. All white wines are sweet, was her answer. The wine that was served to me was dry. And now to the most important point, which almost borders on negligence. There is a legend for allergens in the back of the menu. A stands for dishes containing gluten. As I leafed through it, I was pleased to see that there was hardly a clue with an A. Even pizza and fajita should be gluten-free. As a precaution, I asked the waitress whether this was correct and whether the dishes were gluten-free. She didn't know what gluten was. Of course that's not a bad thing. I asked what flour was used for baking. “With normal flour,” was her answer. I checked again whether it was baked with wheat or perhaps with corn, but it turned out that wheat was used. It is negligent if a restaurant only lists the allergens for a handful of dishes and not for 3/4 of the menu. Please urgently revise the map here! And please also inform the waiters about allergens or give them an internal option as to how they can inform themselves and the guest.
