I have Celiac disease and this is a restaurant I have not gotten sick from eating at. They are super knowledgeable and every server can tell you what’s safe and what’s not. It’s one of the few places I feel safe eating at!!

Great sweet tea, brewed in house. Great with celiac, ask for the GF menu. It's in the old rail station, right on the river downtown. Tip: park in the Court St deck to avoid the craziness..

We had a fantastic experience at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que! Even though the restaurant was busy, we didn’t have to wait for a table since we opted for takeout. They have convenient picnic tables outside, making it easy to enjoy a meal on the go. The atmosphere was lively, and it’s clear this is a go-to spot for both locals and tourists, especially those visiting the Strong Museum. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and efficient—even with the high volume of customers, they handled everything seamlessly. The menu offers a great selection of BBQ favorites, including beef brisket, St. Louis ribs, pulled pork, cornbread, and a variety of delicious sides. We were also pleased to see excellent gluten-free options and kid-friendly meals. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. We were very impressed and will definitely be returning the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great BBQ in Rochester!
