The main waiter we had was amazing. She referred to me and my friend as "lovelies". That's just the most amazing gender neutral collective pronouns, thankyou that really made our day. The food was also really nice.
The Vegan Green Essentials was really good. We both really enjoyed that, and the tofu add-on was excellent, but for $6.60, I would have expected a little bit more than 5 1.5cm cubes.
We really liked the smashed avo, but we feel like that should be a proper item on the menu, instead of a fairly small side in the build your own breakfast.
The other waiter we had wasn't as good. He took our order, and we specified the food needs to be vegan. He comes back 5min later, and is like the Turkish bread isn't vegan (which is sometimes the case, as sometimes yoghurt is used as a raising agent), and referred to us to the Gluten Free bread (gluten free bread generally contains egg, so that's surprising). Our friend asked what about the sourdough, and he's like, that contains less gluten.
I think he got confused with vegan and the gluten free fad diet. I know everyone has their days, but that's a bit concerning. Everything was sorted out by the time we got our food, so that's good.
