Be wary if you have issues with gluten here. Their menu states that they take "extreme cautions to minimize the risk of cross contamination", but the waitress told me that they boil their noodles in the same water as their dumplings, meaning ANYTHING with noodles is cross contaminated (including the pho and spring rolls). Honestly, this is super disappointing and does not indicate much care for minimizing cross contamination. That being said - their cocktails were tasty. My husband got their pho and enjoyed it. I got the Vietnamese chicken curry, which was tasty but VERY spicy. Service was kinda slow; it took quite a while to get our drinks ordered and then to get our food order in. They brought out our entrees but forgot my husband's summer rolls. I also requested no cilantro on my dish but it came out with a huge sprig on top. Overall I found this to be a disappointing experience, considering the blatant cross-contamination and hit-and-miss service.

District Saigon cannot accommodate anyone with celiac disease. Their menu asserts that several items are gluten-free but the serving staff is quite clear once you enter the premises that they use the same pot, water, and fryer as all other dishes and therefore cross-contamination is a guarantee. The vegan curry is the only menu item that can avoid cross-contamination. We ended up heading to another location to eat. I think if they removed the advertising that their dishes were gluten free on their menu, this would be more transparent and lead to less disappointment from prospective customers. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal, but this was at the tail end of a fairly long road trip and involved a very sad and disappointed child and sister.

We got to the restraint after spending the whole day in the car, on the website it says that they accommodate allergies but when we got there and asked if they could do gluten free/celiac they said all the noodles and spring rolls were cooked in the same fryer and that the gluten free stuff would be cross contaminated with the gluten food. Not allergy friendly if you are sensitive to cross contamination.
