Divine Bovine Burgers

I absolutely love everything about this restaurant! We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was hopping for sure. My wife and I each had a Divine Bovine Burger. I had mine in a bun. There was not a gluten free option for my wife, however you can get your burger lettuce wrapped or on a bed of spring mix, she had the latter. The burgers were perfectly cooked to order and they are large! The seasoning was spot on and the mix of toppings was a flavor explosion, perfectly balanced. By far one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had, right down to the butter grilled bun. We shared the Hot Mess Fries, which again were amazing and had just enough of each topping ordered, great balance. If you've never been here before, I'd strongly urge you to check out the menu before you go, they have so many custom burgers and sides, it's overwhelming at the counter, you don't want to miss anything! The drink options were plentiful as well, with custom soda flavors which were amazing. We had Black Cherry and Orange Creme for or drinks, very tasty! The staff here were as amazing as the food. In a time when good service and friendly people can be hard to find, I was so pleasantly surprised to find the staff at Divine Bovine outgoing, friendly, and eager to serve customers with over the top, hands on service! Just a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant was clean and well organized. If I have any complaints at all, it would be the patio tables. They are warped and a bit in disrepair, but still completely usable. It was not enough of a detractor to prevent us from coming back! It was $40-50 for lunch for two burgers, fries, and drinks (plus tip). It was a great value given the amount of food you get (we took leftovers with us). Bottom line...GIVE THEM A TRY!

Wife said this place was amazing and had lettuce wrap options. I can't do gluten. So I was excited to try it. I opted for the bisen burger +$6.50 over the standard burger. I built it myself which had some good options. Every side they had was fried in oil that they couldn't promise wasn't cross contaminated with gluten. So I opted for just the burger. I asked for it medium rare. I don't know how they managed this but half the patty was well done and half was rare. I also opted for the fresh made strawberry lemonade. Aside from the burger being cooked crazy it wasn't anything to write home about. The lemonade tasted really weird, not ok weird. I poured out the strawberry and got the regular and it was worse. The place looked run down, and lacked upkeep. For the price honestly it just wasn't worth it. 3 burgers and no sides with the one lemonade was almost $60. It's been about an hour since I ate the food and I feel gross and sick. This will be the first and last time I eat here. Here is hoping I don't get really sick.
