Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken

Good GF chocolate cake-like donut, one of the better ones I’ve had in a long time. Entire place is not GF.

Best gluten free donuts ever, and the staff is super friendly.

We found out about these donuts at our visit to the Shedd Aquarium and they were so delicious we decided to get a dozen to take home to our family. The old fashioned might just be the best donut I’ve ever eaten. We also tried the Boston cream and it was equally spectacular. The glaze was legitimate chocolate and the custard filling was smooth and not too sweet. We tried a gluten free hoping it would be a special surprise for my niece with celiac and it did not disappoint. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, we arrived late in the day and there were only five options remaining. We will be back to try the raspberry bullseye. Truly excellent and aptly named. Well done.
