The Dobbin Houe Tavern fine dining restaurant is a romantic and delicious walk back through time. The history of the house is amazing as it was the first stop of the underground railroad north of the Mason Dixon line. If you go halfway up the stairs to the right of the hostess, you can see where the hidden loft is. The house has been maintained as in the 1800s. This, coupled with period furniture and dishes, helps to complete the feeling you have traveled back in time.
They have a full bar and wine list. I ordered a Manhattan cocktail, which was perfectly made.
Their menu is high-end American and fairly priced. They brought out a complimentary basket of assorted homemade breads with whipped butter, which I found amazingly addictive. My dinner started with a fresh crisp salad, which was refreshing. I ordered the NY strip as the main entree, which was perfectly cooked and insanely delicious.
The service was warm, friendly, and wonderfully attentive.

Pro Tip: Try the house dressing on your salad.
