Dolce Italy

I grew up going to an Italian bake shop in upstate New York, and I’m so happy I’ve discovered a place in Greenville where I can get similar Italian desserts! When I went in, the shop was very clean, prices were reasonable, and customer service was excellent. The employees were happy to answer any questions I had. They also had a selection of gluten free deserts in their fridge.

Cute Italian dessert and coffee casual cafe. Transports you to Italy when you walk in. Immediately greeted by friendly Italian young man who welcomed us and explained the menu offerings and made suggestions. We tried several items and went back the next day to try a few more - it was THAT GOOD! The savory pastries (onion/cheese, mushroom/tomato/cheese, etc.) are delicious, the butter cookies and puff pastries are out of this world, the gelato (especially the chocolate) is rich, creamy and so satisfying, and the cappuccino was authentic and artistically presented. Several customers came in for the fresh Italian bread and many were ordering/conversing in Italian - a real clue to how authentic this place is. They give a discount for paying in cash (which I appreciate). They even have vegan and gluten-free options - brilliant!!! This is my new favorite place to get away and relax over some cookies and coffee. Nice outdoor bistro tables as well as indoor seating.
