Gluten free pizza!!

Mediocre Gluten Free Pizza at best! I was so excited after reading the reviews of this restaurant having the best gluten free pizza in NYC and wow I was really disappointed. The crust a proprietary blend of gluten free wheat starch and other ingredients I found rubbery and tasteless. The sauce was non descript and very little cheese. The salad to me the size of a side salad was not worth $15 at all. And while our server was excellent I was put off when I asked for extra parmesan garlic and oregano to doctor up the flavor the server very nicely said that they don't allow customers those condiments because it will compromise the taste. Wow for a restaurant to be that pompous and underwhelming with their delivery. One hour and $51.00 later we walked out knowing this was not a repeat performance.

This is the best Neopolitan style pizza I've ever had. Cozy atmosphere. Lots of options. High quality ingredients. They also have a wide variety of gluten free offerings. You can get gluten free crust as well as gluten free calzones. Unlike many other places, Don Antonio's gluten free crust is house-made from scratch, and it is very good. Don't be scared by the crowds either. The service is quick, so we haven't had to wait long, even in very busy times.
