Don at Kitsilano

Had a fantastic experience with our anniversary dinner at Don! We were given a lovely card to celebrate our anniversary and the seating area was very warmly lit and pleasantly arranged. The food was delightful, the donburi bowls were amazing, but my highlights were the "when grandma was here" spin on mapo tofu that they serve, and the white rabbit ice cream dessert. It was also very accessible to my gluten-intolerant partner, with many notes about what dishes are gluten-free or vegan. This is a must-return for us!

This was our first visit to "Don at Kitsilano". They'd run out a few of the gluten free items on the menu, but I was able to find substitutes. The food was wonderful! We all enjoyed our meals. I had beef tartare as a starter, and beef cheeks for the main. Both dishes were fabulous!! If you want to be sure of a table, make a reservation. As a party of 4, we were very glad we had reserved a few days before our visit. We are already planning our next visit! Thank you so much everyone.
