Downshift Coffee

I can only drink decaf, so that's all I can go by, and this decaf is delicious. It's all I use at home when I'm in a home coffee kick. I've gifted these beans before and they're always a hit (decaf isn't always out, but if you ask, usually someone can make a bag). I discovered my go-to drink here, because the awesome owner took the time to help me out. I wanted the dryer flavor of a cappucino with the volume of a latte, and my beloved quad shot decaf latte with oat milk was born. And now I judge all other coffee shops by their ability to make this drink. The staff is so kind and the vibes are always upbeat and laid back. Lots of seating, and a cute Adirondack area out front. The decor and art are great to look at while you wait for your drink. (There is one machine, during busy times, the wait can understandably be a little longer, small town time zone applies, use the time to chat or take a breather) The gluten free snacks are delish, but I'm usually here too early to be hungry, so haven't tried everything.

The best dirty chai - they make the chai in house steeped in oat milk and it wasn’t overly sweet like you typically find. Gluten free coconut cookie was incredible.
