Maybe not the best donuts in the city, but one of the top options. Well above the Chicago chains Stan's or Do-Rite. Vietnamese coffee is made to order and very rich. The gluten free donuts are some of the best I have ever had and almost indistinguishable from the regular ones which is hard to pull off if you've ever had gluten free food before.

The goal of a review is to take a picture of the item before you eat...but THIS donut (Brown butter chai) was screaming my name! Oh it was so good! Way better than its commercial competitors! Downstate donuts came to my apartment building and I'm so glad they did! Most of us had never heard of them, but ALL of us was trying to see how can we purchase a dozen 🤭 immediately! This is definitely a must try and it's gluten free!

Great donut shop! They have gluten-free donuts, and what I like about them is that they aren't overly sweet, which is hard to find with GF baked goods. The person at the front desk is also extremely nice!
