I recently visited Downtown Dosas, and it’s officially my new go-to spot for authentic South Indian flavors! Located conveniently across from Burrard SkyTrain station, it’s the perfect place to grab a delicious meal in the heart of downtown.
I tried the Chicken Keema Dosa and Idli Sambar, and both were packed with flavor! The dosa had that perfect crispiness with a rich and flavorful minced chicken curry filling, and the coconut chutney was super fresh and tasty. The idlis were soft, and the sambar had the perfect Andhra-style spice kick! To top it off, I had their chai, which was warm and comforting.
What I love about Downtown Dosas is that they offer vegan, gluten-free, and halal options, making it a great spot for everyone. The staff was super friendly, and the service was quick. Whether you’re a South Indian food lover or trying dosa for the first time, this place is a must-visit!
