Fantastic Japanese restaurant in the heart of Soho - adapted dishes to be gluten free!

The food is delicious but the service is some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. I don’t think I’ll come back despite LOVING the sushi. Visit 1 (July 2022): I have a gluten allergy and told the server I cannot have normal soy sauce AFTER I was given my nigiri order. Usually soy sauce isn’t added on nigiri in most sushi places, hence why I didn’t mention it. The waitress yelled at me saying I should next time tell her before that I have an allergy. Visit 2 (November 2022): I inform the waitress before I give my order that I have a gluten allergy. I order salmon avocado rolls and my friend orders a dragon roll and gyozas. The waitress comes back and shouts at us for not informing her which order is for her, as my friend’s order has gluten. We told her that I did in fact make it clear that I cannot have gluten, and I ordered MY food which was the salmon avocado rolls, and my friend ordered HER food which was the dragon roll and the gyozas. I’m not sure what her point was, as it was clear that we ordered our own food and I made it very clear in the beginning that I cannot have gluten. It was honestly so bizarre and so incredibly rude. I have been to so many restaurants and it’s pretty obvious that each guest orders their own food. If a waiter or waitress wants to double check that I won’t eat the other person’s food, they kindly and calmly inform it has gluten to me, not come back 10 min later and yell at us lol.
