Duckfat

Great little gem in Portland! These two plates were the duck salad and the pork belly sandwich. I had the duck salad because I’m gluten intolerant, which personally wasn’t my cup of tea but that’s because I don’t really like kale - it was a well executed salad and everything in it went well together. But the pork belly sandwich was SO GOOD! We also got the tomato fennel soup which I thought was pretty good. Ryan was our server and worth noting - he was very personable, friendly, attentive, made great recommendations, and it didn’t take long at all for our food to come out. Definitely recommend!

The now famous Duckfat does not disappoint even 15+ years down the road. What can I say that has not been said already. It glutenous in the best way. Embrace it. Get the Poutine loaded, any of the Sammies, and splurge for the donut holes. Pro-tip ... Drink a lot of water, in addition to your favorite beverage and your body will thank you the day after. Incredible service, while expensive the value is evident. Eatup! Drinkup! Tip well! Go for a long walk afterwards!!!
