Very disappointed from the staff to the food. We booked for Father's Day and we booked the restaurant and got placed on a make shift table in the bar. Staff unfriendly the Irish man was rude and Mel was very rude. When I asked Mel about my allergy she was rude from the start. Gave me the tablet to order which said I could have veg stick or sausage and mash but the sausage and mash contains gluten so not gluten free! Chef came out he was the only pleasant member of staff. We booked as it is says gluten free on the website etc guess not on Father's Day. Not only that it was a set menu and due to I couldn't have a starter or dessert as they don't offer gluten free options they made me pay the full set menu. I will not be returning and disappointed with how down hill this restaurant has gotten.

Dissapointing. Difficult one to review, their service was a mixed bag from excellent to non-existent depending on who approached the table. Seemed difficult to order drinks- they'd take one drink and go before the rest the table could order. The food was good, but I'd avoid if you're celiac- whilst their menu states everything that is gluten free, you then have to spend 25minutes going through with waitress as the Sauces etc within the gluten free meals are not gluten free. The food itself was good. Ridiculous amount of noise coming from the kitchen several times- sounded like someone sharing the cutlery drawer as hard as they could. Service took a long time, but I think that's mainly down to having to comb through what celiacs can actually eat. The restaurant is clearly priced for excellent quality food, but there are better options out there with better service and food availability.

AVOID. I had the displeasure of visiting this establishment on Sunday evening with my mother who is both disabled and has numerous dietary requirements. I initially went inside the establishment alone to enquire whether the dietary requirements (gluten, egg and dairy) could be catered for to which I was told by the hostess / front of house that there is an app or tablet and that would tell me but probably yes. Upon arrival both of us the staff were incredibly unhelpful, referencing the tablet, referencing that the establishment and staff took no responsibility for cross-contamination or unlisted ingredients in the dishes. No choices were available on the tablet and the chef was apparently unwilling or unable to make any adjustments to the dishes to accommodate the allergies. We were made to feel like we were difficult / unwelcome the whole time and as such left. Do not visit this place if you would like warm customer care, understanding or helpful advice and care with allergies.
