Dumplings & Baos

Was recommended this place as good for gluten-free and although there was a good selection of dumplings on the menu I realised partway through eating the wooden steamers used for my food were exactly the same as my gluten-eating friend's. I was unwell that afternoon and for two days afterwards and although it may have been a coincidence, I suspect it was due to cross-contamination. Would suggest to the owners to get separate gluten-free steamers (or non-wooden ones which can be effectively cleaned in a dishwasher) but I unfortunately wouldn't recommend for coeliacs at the moment. If cross-contamination isn't an issue for you though, the gluten-free dumplings are delicious!

I dont know what I liked more. The Dumpings, or the Baos, actually that's a lie, I prefer dumplings because I'm allergic to gluten, and the dumplings don't have gluten. That being said, my friend preferred the Baos.

This place is exceptional. Not only are the dumplings gluten free, but they are delicious, mouth watering, and in a variety of perfect food combos as well. In two people we ordered 5 different varieties, and we would have ordered the whole menu if we weren't stuffed. The atmosphere is unpretentious and has a great home feel to it, with the staff being really helpful, knowledgeable about gluten free, and welcoming. I'm looking forward to trying more, or ordering my favorite dumplings (scallops and prawns) all over again.
