EJ's Bayfront Cafe

Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Food was well prepared, i.e., scrambled eggs were eggcellent. Also had there grits, which were also good and a gluten free English muffin. We were served our food pretty quickly considering that they were fairly busy. A nice neighborhood spot.

Best breakfast we've had in several years! Everything so fresh. Selections are really special with appealing presentation and delicious. Server was Jonathan and he had the perfect balance of efficiency, helpfulness, and friendliness. I have a serious gluten issue and he took the time to explain clearly the options for me on the menu. My husband had the apple cinnamon stuffed French toast with eggs. I had incredibly delicious Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The gluten free English muffin was the best I've ever had, light and tasty with great texture. Eggs were cooked as I requested, medium and not watery. Hollandaise was gluten free and so good. Home fries were crisp and not greasy. Coffee was rich and fresh. Plan to bring guests from out of town for a real breakfast treat! The outdoor seating arrangement is unique and adds to the enjoyment of the breakfast. Great venue!
