Earth at Hidden Pond

We had an excellent dinner at the beautiful, tucked away spot. We arrived early so they sat us at one of their fire pits overlooking the pond with some drinks. For the tasting menu, they worked with me to identify what was gluten free or could be accommodated. For example, one dish with soy sauce used a GF tamari so I was able to eat it. I am also dairy free which they didn’t have any trouble accommodating either. That evening, I had a tuna carpaccio, octopus and seafood stew that was Thai style with rice noodles. I opted out of dessert thinking that would be too hard but they then suprised me with a delicious sorbet and berries. It was the best meal we’ve had during our Maine trip and would highly recommend!

Excellent service, attention to detail, and truly a luxury dining experience. Our server was so careful about the gluten allergy, and we felt so well taken care of. We will definitely visit here again when we come back to Maine.
