East Side Mario's

I don’t usually ever write a review but this time I feel it is important. We ate at this restaurant for my daughter’s birthday on July 16 th, I was very sick before we even got out of the restaurant. I have celiac and spoke with the server about this and they assured me it was safe and gluten free. I was so sick we needed to call an ambulance and spent a day and night at the hospital where I was treated for anaphylactics, this is all I ate this day!! They told me the salad dressing brand and said it was gluten free, I have checked at the grocery store and read the label and confirmed with the company it is not certified gluten free. When I spoke with the owner he was VERY rude and showed no compassion or responsibility. He said to get him the hospital papers and paramedic papers saying it was from their food and he would then have his corporate lawyers look at it, then he proceeded to hang up on me. I have NEVER ever had an experience like this ever.

Our server David was so friendly, kind & the food was excellent! Love that they don’t charge extra for substituting gluten-free pasta
