East Side King has remained one of my favorite Austin food spots since I tried their brussels sprouts salad at ACL in 2016 (the brussels salad is also one of my favorite renditions of brussels sprouts *ever*). Just last night I had the pleasure of meeting Cesar who was running the truck, and he was so kind, telling us background about the dishes/recipes and allowing us to try the curry (going so far as to give us a small container of it when we loved it but ultimately ordered another dish). Incredible food served by wonderful people. If you’re on the east side, you must try. And if you’re not on the east side, make it over there. Oh and lots of gluten free/veggie options!

So much Gluten Free to deliciousness to eat. I always get the Karage chicken and the veggie meshie (sp?) without soy. So yummy paired with s drink from the Liberty.
