Eating House

Very disappointed. Went to the Eating House to celebrate my birthday with a dinner. My father had got sick after eating there a few months ago, but considering we used to get food from the Eating house regularly/weekly (gluten free pizzas and gluten free risottos) I thought it may have been a one time contamination so decided to give it another chance. They have a Gluten Free Menu from which my Dad chose a meal and was later up all night seriously ill. Coeliac disease is extremely common and it would be much better to NOT have a Gluten Free Menu than to cause people to get seriously ill. Once could be a bit of cross contamination. But twice, that's just unacceptable/negligent. (for reference, my Dad has no issues eating gluten free meals anywhere else, and if it was a small contamination he only has a small reaction, so it must have been seriously bad!)

Our family had a lovely meal at the Eating House this week; it’s been one of my favs for ages! The food was fabulous (highly recommend the pizzas; even the gluten free pizza was amazing!), the atmosphere was great (sitting in the outside under cover area wasn’t too cold and it wasn’t too noisy), and the service was excellent (thanks Amber; you were friendly and helpful). Highly recommend this place :)
