We had finished a long morning seeing the sights of ilframcombe and were all desperate for a decent relaxing lunch! Struggling to find somewhere suitable and with enough space, I gave these guys a call and they were super friendly and accommodating. 7 of us and a dog felt welcomed with beautiful home cooked food with gluten free options, very very friendly and accommodating staff! Portions are brilliant for the money and it’s a cosy country pub feel. They deserve all the good reviews! Thank you so much.

First impressions weren't good as we approached by car, the place looks a little run down and the smokers area placement outside the front door wasn't helping. Once inside, the staff were very friendly and patient. This was while dealing with a Coeliac, a vegan, two vegetarians and gaggle of 7-10year old chatterboxes. The food was great, all as ordered and decent size portions. An allergens list for their food would have really helped put minds at ease whilst ordering. All in all, a good place to eat and worth a visit.
