Edelweiss German Restaurant

I have eaten here a number of times. But, oh, how it seems to have gone downhill. I ordered the "pork medallions " which I've had before. But tonight, the sauce was out of question, as it now has gluten. In the past, it did not. So, not only was the pork dry, but it wasn't even close to medallions. If it were another commodity, I'd call it stems and seeds. Nothing but some off ends and rejects from decent cuts, full of gissle and over-cookex to boot. The vegetables -- supposedly "fresh" -- were miserable and sloppily overcooked as well. The cabernet was overpriced, given its humble origin. If not for good service, I would rate this restaurant with 1-star today.

Reservations required. Annual birthday dinner for my husband is always spent at Edelweiss! Amazing atmosphere.. live music.. great service. Free LARGE slice of cake provided for the birthday boy. Gluten Free menu with many delicious options and great care taken for zero cross contamination. You won't go wrong coming here!

I loved it as a kid, haven't been back in 20 years and still absolutely loved everything! The decor is immersive, the food is incredible and the service is top notch. I was impressed most eith the gluten free options and how well everything is labeled on the menu. There is GF food, drink and desserts! The restaurant also has a kiddo menu. We were also impressed with the boast that the beers are a stict recipe from centuries ago! Everyone loved their meals and we will be coming back!
