The restaurant caters to vegans and has some gluten free options. It is in a very charming area of Bristol, close to the downs. You can take a long walk and come have lunch, breakfast, afternoon tea. The elixirs were very good. I had the turmeric and lion’s mane. My husband the cacao, mushroom and cinnamon and my daughter had a chai. Loved the drinks. I didn’t love my food. The Doner had a lot of vegan cheese that took over the taste of the wrap. And the vegan “meat” wasn’t good. My daughter liked her Ruben sandwich. My husband liked his bowl but the wrap needed meet sliced not in a massive heap, as well as more vegetables and not vegan cheese. Wait staff was really helpful.

Pros: The service was great & the ambience was cute. They were accommodating & did afternoon tea for 2 (1 of which was gluten free). The selection of teas were good & they did a nice espresso cocktail. Cons: The standard scone was a little dry, & the gluten free 1 was inedible (far too much baking powder, & very dry - the chef kindly apologised & acknowledged they were changing the recipe, but knowing it's bad just don't serve it! He was sweet to apologise though). We were expecting finger sandwiches but got half a toastie & a small pot of prawn cocktail with spinach leaves. The other treats were overly sweet. For nearly £30 pp it was not good value for money & worse, a disappointing experience. Sadly can't recommend.
