Edgewater Manor Restaurant

Had my moms 65th bday with 14 guests - picked a set menu with some upgrades +add ons and we totally enjoyed ourselves! Highly recommend menu E upgrade pasta to sacchetti and add truffle fries for the table. We had some celiac/diet restrictions and everything worked out great for them also. David was our server and he was very polite attentive and helpful. Thank you for the great service! Peter helped plan the event with me and was very patient and helpful.

It honestly upsets me that I have to give edgewater manor a one star rating because the venue is absolutely stunning but the service wasn’t what I expected. I told the server I was celiac and to please be-careful especially with cross contamination. He assured me that they had GF options and not to worry. As I was eating dessert I said “wow this is so good, like how is this even GF” and than my friend proceeded to say “how do you know it is with cross contamination” (which is true but you hope for the best and have confidence the venue knows what they are doing) but than the server proceeded to say “I’m not eating it so I don’t care” I was in total shock that I had no idea what to say but I also didn’t want the bride and groom to stress out their special day. Well whatever they did that day wasn’t GF because I am now paying for it and feel extremely ill. So disappointing and to be honest it makes me feel scared to even attend any event or go out for a nice dinner. So a heads up for anyone with an allergy, please talk to the owner to make sure their servers know what they are doing and there isn’t any future incidents such as this one.
