ef16 Restaurant Weinbar

Many thanks to the ef16 team for this wonderful evening. We fell in love with this small and very cozy restaurant from the first moment. When I asked for gluten-free food via email, I quickly received a response saying that it wasn't a problem. After our arrival we had 2 delicious and exceptional aperitifs, with something for all tastes. Our food and drinks were mainly served by Max. He was very friendly, answered all of our questions, was funny and very accommodating. We felt very comfortable with him. The food was absolutely outstanding and to the point. We had the 4 course menu with wine accompaniment. Both the gluten-free version and the “normal” version were absolutely top. After the first two courses, we were each asked whether we would like to continue straight away or would we prefer a short break. The audience was international and English was not a problem. We can recommend the ef16 without reservation and would be happy to come back.

We were served impeccably. I chose a beef tartare and a steak. Both served with the guarantee of gluten-free and contamination-free. The two dishes fully met my expectations: expertly designed and presented. My husband, on the other hand, let himself be pampered by the 4 courses chosen by the chef paired with 4 different glasses of wine. They were innovative dishes, present on the menu, which featured truffles, chestnuts, mushrooms and meat. A great discovery in the ancient heart of Vienna. We will be back for the goodness of the dishes and the excellent service and hospitality.
