Egg & Flour Pasta Bar

For 5pm on a Friday night, we got right in. The wait for food was minimal and worth every minute. I had the Lobster Mac & Cheese -- the Friday special. I even opted for zucchini noodles as a gluten free option. Yum on all angles!! The sauce was light & tasty, the lobster chunks were large, and the zucchini noodles were a delightful alternative to pasta.

As a vegan looking at their menu, it's a bit hard to figure out if you can get anything made vegan. Bacon, cheese, butter, cream, meat, lobster are all over the menu and the one item labeled VG isn't identified, so is it Vegan? Vegetarian? Gluten-Free? Can't tell. Luckily, when I walked into the place and asked at the register if they had anything a vegan could order, they piped right up with YES! There are actually three vegan options! So I got the item labeled VG, the Creste Di Gallo - Basil Pesto/ Walnut Pesto (VG) Parmesan $10. Delicious! By the time I got it home, however, it was a little dry, but the flavor was still all there and then some. Definitely need to eat this as soon as it comes out of the kitchen, so I'll try something else next time. The Bucatini my friend had was very good. I can't wait to try the other two vegan options.
