Egg Harbor Cafe

Shocked and disappointed 😞. I'll start off with the fact that I called immediately but they were closed with no way to leave a message. I can't find an email address online or on my app. We ordered from Egg Harbor Cafe expressly because of your grits! Guess what.. no grits in the order at all. And as ypu can see they were on every order except the blueberry pancakes.. when you are ready to eat disappointment over your meal feels offensive. While we were DISAPPOINTINGLY eating our GRITLESS meals, my daughter found a curly hair in her meal wrapped around a potato. She immediately stopped eating and spit the food that was in her mouth out. Hair in the food!!!! 🤢I never expected that. Our doordash experience with Egg Harbor was amazing.. To top it off, my son refused to eat his blueberry pancakes because they tasted like cornbread. He LOVES pancakes and were looking forward to tasting the regular ones after he had some of the gluten free pancakes that I had ordered through doordash before. My husband finished his meal. My skillet was missing the avocado. Signed, a hungry family. Very very disappointed. If I could have spoken to someone or reached the restaurant I expect to have had a different experience.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Everytime I've been in Atlanta I come here, and it never disappoints. The gluten free choices are amazing and service is always great even when they're busy which is all the time. I will definitely be back.

Southern charm with a twist of urban hipness! Delicious gluten free brunch menu--one of the best I've seen which means a lot from someone who lived in San Francisco for 16 years! The gluten free cinnamon roll is an absolute must. They are also known for their strawberry orange juice. I ordered the Moroccan shakshuka with eggs poached to perfection. I was in the middle of moving and was having a horrible day. There had been a misunderstanding with my server who seemed new and did not explain the GF menu well to me. The moving stress was taking its toll and I decided to leave instead of order. In my own "Karen" moment, I decided to call and ask for the manager while driving away. Thank goodness, I did! Her name was Charlotte and her warmth radiated thru the phone. She was profusely apolgetic and sought to remedy the misunderstanding immediately by inviting me back to explain the menu better. The food was incredible and I even bought take out for a friend. I will be a neighborhood regular here! The rest of the staff is also excellent and really cares about customers having a good experience. I would have never known they were a regional chain from the personableness of the staff.
