Egg House

Super cute breakfast diner! We had a lovely time with caramelized apple pecan pancakes, Swedish pancakes, apple cinnamon crepes, and egg and sausage plates. Be advised that egg math works differently at Egg House; ordering one egg will yield 2 on your plate and ordering 2 eggs will return 4! The crepes took barely longer to come out than the rest of the table's items, and our waitress was so sweet and brought tiramisu pancakes on the house due to the delay! The house coffee was classic friendly diner brew, and all of the staff was very attentive topping off our coffee during our meal. Everyone was very happy with their food and more than ample portions. There were gluten free pancake options and more than enough options for vegetarians. There's a small parking lot, and there was a short 10 min wait on a Saturday morning. Great place for a very filling breakfast or brunch with friendly staff!

My friends and I were passing through Lombard and got some ~*good vibes*~ from Egg House on Google, so we decided to stop by for some breakfast. It was a great choice because we were greeted with friendly faces, and met with really delicious food. The food was fresh, and exactly what we wanted. I rarely ever see gluten free anything on menus, and was pleasantly surprised to see it on theirs! I couldn't even tell they were gluten free. While the food was a highlight, Heather, our server, made our entire day with her kindness. She was so accommodating, giving us plenty of options for our dietary restrictions, and just had such amazing energy! She is the gem of Egg House.
