Ek'sentrik Cafe Maroubra

The owner is a legend!!! We have been going there regularly over the past 3 years and even though we’ve moved away from Maroubra, every time we go back it is part of our ritual!!! Coffee is amazing, complimentary brownies are amazing and their gluten free options are great!!!

Fun buzzy cafe with pretty decent coffee elevated by the free brownie bite that comes with it. Minus one star as their muffins have really gone downhill. They used to do chocolate and berry in both regular and gluten free but now you can only get berry gluten free and the regular choc muffins have almost no chocolate in them. Initially I gave them the benefit of the doubt in case I'd just got a dud one, but the last THREE muffins I've bought have all only had one or two tiny pieces of chocolate... they might as well have been plain ones. Sad, I used to enjoy them a lot, and the chocolate GF ones were even better.
