El Charro

We came to El Charro while staying the night in Carlsbad and it was amazing! The quesabirra tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had. The consommé was super flavorful as well. We will definitely come back here when we stop in Carlsbad again. I’ll make sure to take pictures next time, it looked so good that I ate it all before I could remember to take pictures. My boyfriend got the chile relleno plate and he also really liked it! The staff were super sweet and we liked the self serve sauce bar. Most items on the menu are naturally gluten free because of the ingredients and the use of corn tortillas. I don’t know about cross contamination though because they do use flour tortillas for some dishes. I didn’t get sick though!

Might be the best tacos I've ever had, husband had enchiladas, they were amazing. Tons of options for those on gluten free diet as well. Fast friendly service with a smile.
