Electric Coffee House

I was honoring the Starbucks barista strike so I decided to try this place out. It was okay. I ordered a doughnut and a drip coffee, and honestly, I was surprised that it was $11. I read (online, after buying) that it was a vegan gluten free doughnut and maybe that is why the cost was so high? Maybe also why it tasted so bad? It was very very dry. The coffee was okay, lukewarm, already made. To me, for the price, it was a disappointment. Counter person was friendly and rang me up quickly. Simple to tap the iPad-type screen to pay. Of course they have the annoying "suggested tip" screen to start the process, but I think that may be the default setting on those POS devices. Irks me that a tip has gone from a "thank you" for good service to a choice you make when you first walk in. The place looked good. Lot of plants. Variety of seating options. Feels like a welcoming place for everyone. The stickers by the front counter were cool. If there was music, it was unobtrusive, which is a big plus. I noticed they serve alcohol and (vegan?) food. Unfortunately, my table was sticky and dirty which is never good. But overall it was a comfortable place. On a rainy Sunday afternoon, it was pretty busy. Most people seemed like regulars to me, so obviously this coffee shop appeals to a lot of people! But not really me. I'm sure the place looks great on Instagram but I found the food and coffee less than tasty.

This is a nice chill cafe! I came across them because I heard they had Gluten Free Donuts (Dude's Donuts). I can gladly confirm this is correct! I ordered a half dozen to take home. Unfortunately, their menu doesn't show that they sell them or on Uber Eats so, no 5 stars for that. I informed the cashier and emailed them so, hopefully I can change this to 5 stars if they update the menu and/or Uber Eats so I can order these for delivery!
