I went to Elfegne yesterday with some friends and had a really good experience. The service was very friendly and attentive the whole time. I told them I have a gluten allergy, and they were really careful about it. They made sure my meal came with gluten-free injera and even double checked that everything I ordered was safe. The food was so good. The injera was soft and fresh. The doro wat was rich and perfectly spiced, the lentils were really flavorful, and the vegetables tasted fresh and well cooked, you can tell they put a lot of care into their food Everything came beautifully served on the injera and the portions were generous enough for me and my friends. Overall just great service and really delicious food. I’ll definitely be back.

The food here is delicious. And you don't need to call ahead to order gluten free 100% teff injera, they just have it. It costs $5 to upgrade, but it is worth it. Doro wot, tikel gomen, and kay sir are highly recommended.
